Born in Teófilo Otoni (MG), the city where he lived until he was 16, he moved to Belo Horizonte, where he studied Interior Design at UEMG. While he was still in university, he started working in a design office where he acquired great knowledge. In Campo Grande (MS) he opened his own design office and his projects gained notoriety.
