When we talk about large slabs, the first modernist scenario to explore large proportions that crosses my mind is the German pavilion at the World Fair in 1929, in Barcelona, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Inspired by this work, we covered the entire box of the space with the Palissandro slab. We applied tensoflex on the wall, at the bottom of the cube, close to a central mirror, which is sustained inside a niche with metallic pillars in the same shape of those drawn for the pavilion. The lamp, with an industrial air and supporting furniture, with green marbles signed by Jader Almeida, complement the ambience and give coziness and sophistication to the project.
