The species of hardwood which compose Ibirapuera Park were the basis for studying and collecting several woods as reference. Boards of pau-brasil, brazilian walnut and the tipu tree in several finishings were translated into Portobello porcelain tiles.
From the obtained pieces two paths were chosen: the first was the composition of colors and textures of different species which could compose the same project. It is a work of handcraft to recover woods and make them eternal in porcelain tiles. This first path led to the creation of Ibirapuera Mix wood.
The second path produced Ibirapuera Pátina, a version of the same woods with an aged patina effect which also brings the memories of colors of their history.
